The roofline area is the most exposed area of any building, and often it is the most neglected area of your home. It is advised to regularly strip off all the old paint back to the bare wood and then to treat and paint the wood every 3 years at the maximum.

Fascia and soffit

The Fascia is the vertical board that is fitted to the end of rafters on the lowest edge of the roof (just below the tiles/slates). The rainwater products (gutters) is then usually fixed to the fascia. The finished horizontal surface below the fascia and rafters is called the soffit. ECWS Builders and Plastics replaces the existing fascia (traditionally wood), using the highest quality PVC-u products. All our Fascia products are high impact boards which are fixed in place using 65mm Poly top galvanised nails. Our PVC products have been designed to withstand the extreme elements of the  weather. They are maintenance free, Guaranteed never to discolour, resist seawater, acids, pollution and small intruding animals.
